Click <strong>Edit Patient<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_separator][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;18000&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; onclick=&#8221;link_image&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_column_text]Change the patients &#8216;<strong>Data Collection Consent&#8217; and\/or &#8216;Contact Consent<\/strong>&#8216;.<\/p>\n<p>If the patient does not Consent to Data Collection you can continue recording procedure details however you will need to anonymise their record.<\/p>\n<p>If Consent to Contact is off, no further emails will be sent to the patient.<\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>save<\/strong> when you have made the changes.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_separator][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;18337&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; onclick=&#8221;link_image&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Alternatively<\/strong> you can change the consent status in the patient&#8217;s <strong>record<\/strong> by going to &#8216;<strong>Patient Details&#8217;<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_separator][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fa fa-ban&#8221; add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; title=&#8221;Patient Can&#8217;t Access the Portal&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1575470938525-feb22a2b-d769&#8243;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>Why Can&#8217;t my Patient Access the Portal?<\/h2>\n<p>There are a few reasons why a patient may not be able to access the portal. It may be human error, a problem with the device the patient is using or an issue with the setup on Amplitude.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=&#8221;chino&#8221;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>Patient Details Cannot be Found:<\/h4>\n<p>If the error message received is that the <strong>patients details could not be found<\/strong> this may be any of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Their gender, date of birth or surname has been entered incorrectly onto the database. The first thing to do is to confirm these with the patient and make sure they are correct. See <a href=\"https:\/\/amplitude-clinical.com\/amplitude-clinical-knowledge-base\/patient-portal\/#1575470969352-5297d565-6fef\"><strong>Updating Patient Details<\/strong>.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Another possible reason for this is there are duplicate records for the patient, check this by searching for the patient. If you find two records with identical information these will need to be merged.
