JOB DESCRIPTION

POST:                                  Marketing & Office Junior

REPORTS TO:                    Marketing Manager

LOCATION:                       Home Based with occasional travel to Amplitude UK Office and events

WORKING HOURS:          37.5 / Permanent

 

MAIN PURPOSE:             An exciting opportunity for an entry level position that will allow the successful applicant to gain on-the-job training in all areas of the non-clinical business teams including, customer support, sales & marketing, account management and projects.

KEY OBJECTIVES:

  • To support the marketing manager and senior leadership team with varying tasks involved with business operations.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Support:

  • Point of contact for customer support queries that come in by telephone and email – Answering phone to patients, surgeons and other clinical staff
  • Dealing with common issues and user problems such as password resets and correcting spelling mistakes in systems to allow users to complete the forms
  • Dealing with email queries and directing them to other staff members according to the problem
  • Recording all email and phone conversations within the Customer Support tracking system
  • Preparing standard system and usage reports on a regular basis for internal and external distribution

Sales & Marketing:

  • Supporting with social media posts and reporting (LinkedIn & Twitter)
  • Supporting Google Analytics monitoring and reporting
  • Supporting Google Adwords monitoring and reporting
  • Researching prospects
  • Updating CRM
  • Email marketing
  • Supporting event management

Business:

  • Supporting other team members (technical, account management and projects) with tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good Communicator
  • Can work independently
  • Asks for help when unsure
  • Literate
  • Good IT skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Team Player
  • Numerate
  • Good Telephone Manner
  • Ability to Follow Instruction
  • Organised and excellent time management
  • Interest in Marketing and Social Media

GENERIC TASKS:

  1. To keep updated with all system developments and maintain a thorough knowledge of the system
  2. To keep updated with all new developments and information and maintain a thorough knowledge of new procedures and quality processes
  3. To work closely with other team members to complement and support the organisation’s delivery and development
  4. Any other duties as directed by the Managing Director
  5. At all times to work within the organisations Health and Safety policy and ensure so far as is reasonable that safe working practices are established, maintained and followed
  6. To work closely with customers to understand their requirements using a variety of mediums of in person, over the phone, and over the internet

 

Starting Salary: £15,600 p/a
