Dear Registry User,

From Monday 10th May 2021, collection of the patient’s email address will become a mandatory field.  This is being done to facilitate collection of patient postoperative outcome data.  The inclusion of the field will allow the registry to automatically email the patients to fill in their PROMs data.  At the moment only 58% of patients have an email address entered and we know that inclusion of an email address increases PROMS collection ninefold.

Whilst we understand that this is an additional mandatory field that needs to be collected, we hope that this will enhance PROMS collection considerably and make this an easier task for all involved.

Kind regards,

The BSR Steering Committee
