How long have you worked as a Consultant Hand Surgeon  

I have worked as a Consultant Hand surgeon for 11 years and currently practice at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. 

What would you say is your biggest achievement in your career to date?  

Setting up a service for children with cerebral palsy of the upper limbs at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. 

What made you decide to start collecting electronic outcome data?  

The simple reality of patients and surgeons not just thinking that all is okay, but rather having the evidence and data to prove it. 

Why did you choose Amplitude as your service provider?  

Amplitude enabled me to automatically submit my patient data to The British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) registry. 

What are the 3 greatest benefits you have gained from using Amplitude?  

  • I can monitor patients going through congenital hand surgery  
  • I can monitor trauma patients who are going through hand surgery

What is your favourite, most-liked feature or function of Amplitude?  

The ability to collect International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOMS) for congenital hand surgery. 

Do you have any specific objectives that you want to achieve by using Amplitude?  

I want to create a comprehensive record of my patient and clinical outcomes. 

How has your overall experience been with Amplitude?  

Great. There is always room for improvement, but overall, I enjoy working with Amplitude. 

Can you share a fun fact about yourself?  

I have over 500 Spiderman comics!
