Amplitude pro enterprise™ can interface with hospital PAS / EPR systems, ranging from importing simple demographic information straight into Amplitude’s patient record, to bespoke connections that contain rich data, enabling the return to the hospital’s EPR system.
Unique to Amplitude is the Data Exchange tool which allows users to enter data just once and automatically share the information with other systems as needed. Data is retained and controlled in the source system, whilst ensuring compliance with required submissions including UK and International Registries such as NJR, National PROMs and The British Spine Registry.
Direct API’s have been created with other software providers to enable easy transition for clinicians between clinical systems and Amplitude.
The pro series™ platform allows clinicians to add complexity factors and comorbidities so that the bigger picture can be seen and immediate adjustments can be made to treatment pathways accordingly.
The reporting functionality allows clinicians to see snapshots highlighting trends or delve deeper into granular data with the report builder.
The scatter graph module, used mostly in the pro registry™ platform, examines the data submitted into a patients pathway, in the pre-op scores and the post-op scores and then calculates an average and plots this result into the scatter graph. Each entry into the scatter graph is anonymous to protect clinicians, but the results allow individual clinicians to benchmark and monitor their performance.
Amplitude has a dedicated customer support team, accessible via a helpline and email inbox, for clinical teams and patients alike to access assistance and technical support for all users when required. Customer Support is available Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
When support is needed outside of office hours, clients can access the knowledge base website housing videos and how to guides on every area of the platform.
Each new client is assisted by a dedicated project manager to help guide all stakeholders through the set-up and launch period and once the system is live, each client is supported in ongoing activity by a dedicated account manager.

Amplitude takes the security of the data it processes, on behalf of our customers, extremely seriously. As such, we have deployed the highest levels of security features in our software.
NHS data is hosted over the secure HSCN network (formally, the N3 network). Data from all organisations is hosted on Azure; Microsoft’s Cloud hosting solution, a secure cloud network. Azure offers the very highest levels of security.
In all cases, the transmitting of data between the client browser and the Azure cloud infrastructure, is handled via HTTPS, ensuring encrypted transmission of data at all times.
Redcentric is Amplitude’s hosted cloud provider, presenting HSCN connectivity to the Azure cloud platform.
Annual independent penetration testing at application level is carried out to ensure a strong security posture. Amplitude Clinical engaged with Nettitude in April 2020 in order to assess the overall security posture of their environment.
Based on Amplitude Clinical’s risk profile, primary security concerns and the vulnerabilities identified at the point of the engagement, Nettitude have found the overall security posture to be strong.
